Establish Program Criteria
The George Snow Scholarship Fund works with donors to help establish the criteria for their scholarship program that will best reflect the purpose of their award. With over twenty years experience we can point out areas of need within the community that will meet your intended objectives.
Distribute Applications The Fund not only distributes applications for your scholarship, but will advertise your scholarship through local media as well as through our established network of scholarship coordinators throughout Palm Beach County. In addition the Fund promotes the availability of scholarships through workshops in schools where scholarships are offered and a close working relationship with each school’s scholarship coordinator.
Scholarship Selection The George Snow Scholarship Fund has an experienced group of selection committees in place that will, with great care, review all applications and interview the most qualified candidates insuring that your criteria has been met and that the most qualified applicant is selected as the recipient of your scholarship.
Annual Awards Reception Your scholarship recipient will be recognized during the George Snow Scholarship Fund’s Annual Awards Reception. This function allows you, your organization or corporation the opportunity to present a scholarship certificate to the recipient of your award in front of media and interested members of the community.
Disbursement of Funds The Fund will handle the disbursement of your scholarship to the recipient, insuring each semester that the recipient is in good standing with their school. Questionnaires from the George Snow Scholarship Fund must be completed by the recipient, along with a copy of their transcript and their proof of continued enrollment, before any funds are released.
Value Added Programs No other organization can offer as much to your scholarship recipients. The George Snow Scholarship Fund believes strongly in providing much more than just financial assistance. With this in mind we have created and implemented programs that maximize your scholars' chances of success at college. All scholars attend a mandatory High School to College Program. Our Monday Motivational Messages set the tone for our scholars' week ahead and let them know that we are always here for them.
